The series1933 ten dollar bill Silver Certificate is the king of small sized notes and is very rare. The BEP issued a small number of these before redesigning the note in 1934, changing the pledge at the bottom. These bills were only issued in person at one Federal Reserve bank window and so they are very scarce. The pledge in 1933 reads "Payable in Silver coin to the Bearer on Demand". In 1934 the pledge was changed to remove the word Coin. There were 214,000 notes issued but they are rare today and bring easily four figures when found. If you own a 1933 $10.00 bill, please contact me for a nice offer. This note does exist in star note form but it's incredibly rare and a major find.
